Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 12, 2025

We collect only the information we need to sell you an apron, deliver it and help you afterwards. We never sell or rent your personal information. This policy sets out what we collect, why, who processes it on our behalf and how you can control it.

Who is responsible for your data

The Fennelbay store is operated by FRELY TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED, which decides how your personal information is used. Our registered address is:

FRELY TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED
RM.1801, EASEY COMM. BLDG.,
253-261 HENNESSY ROAD, WAN
CHAI
HK

For any privacy question or request, email info@fennelbay.com.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Order details: your name, shipping and billing address, email address, and the aprons you buy.
  • Account details: if you open an account, your login email and order history.
  • Messages: anything you include when you email us or fill in the contact form.
  • Newsletter: your email address, only if you sign up.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browsing data: such as your browser type, approximate location from your IP address, pages viewed and how you arrived at the site.
  • Cookies and pixels: small files and tags that keep your bag working, remember preferences and measure our advertising (explained below).

Payment information

Card details are entered in Shopify's secure checkout and handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation that you paid, but never your full card number.

Why we use it

  • To take, pack, ship and track your order, and to send receipts and delivery updates.
  • To answer your emails and handle returns or refunds.
  • To keep the store secure and prevent fraudulent orders.
  • To understand which pages and prints people enjoy, so we can improve the shop.
  • To send our newsletter, if you have asked for it.
  • To show you relevant Fennelbay adverts on Facebook and Instagram, and to measure whether they work.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

The companies that help us

We share personal information only with providers we need to run the store, and only as much as each needs:

  • Shopify hosts our website, checkout and order records.
  • Our payment processor (through Shopify Payments and, if you choose them, wallets such as PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay) handles and authorises your payment.
  • Meta Platforms receives data from the Meta pixel on our site, such as pages visited and purchases made, which helps us measure and target our Facebook and Instagram ads.
  • Shipping carriers receive your name, address and sometimes email so they can deliver and track your parcel.
  • Our email tools send order messages and, where you have opted in, the newsletter.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.

Cookies, the Meta pixel and your controls

Some cookies are essential: without them the bag and checkout would not work. Others are for analytics or advertising, including the Meta pixel. Where the law requires it we ask for your consent first, and you can switch non-essential cookies off at any time through the cookie banner, your browser settings or our Your Privacy Choices page. We honour Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of targeted advertising.

How long we keep information

Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually several years. Customer emails are kept while we are helping you and for a sensible period afterwards. Newsletter data is deleted when you unsubscribe, apart from a note that you opted out.

Your rights

Residents of California and many other U.S. states, the UK and the EU hold some or all of the following rights, and we extend them to every Fennelbay customer:

  • find out what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • opt out of the "sharing" of your data for targeted advertising;
  • withdraw consent you have given, such as for the newsletter;
  • complain to your local data protection authority.

Email info@fennelbay.com to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity before we act, and we will reply within the time the law sets. We will never treat you differently for using these rights.

Keeping it safe

Our site runs on HTTPS, checkout is handled by Shopify's PCI-compliant systems, and access to customer records is limited to the people who need it. No online system is completely risk-free, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. When they do, we rely on the safeguards they offer, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.

Children

Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and will delete it if we learn that we have.

Updates

If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date. For significant changes we will also let customers know by email or a notice on the site.
