The quietest hour in the kitchen is the one before anyone else is awake, when the dough has risen and the oven is ticking up to heat. This apron is for bread people. It is warm, calm and grounded, like the smell of a crust cooling on a rack.

Scored sourdough boules, long baguettes and bundled wheat sheaves are drawn in warm ink with toasted-brown watercolour washes on an oatmeal ground. Wheat gold and charcoal lines give it a bakery-sketchbook feel, and the loaves are spaced to show off each crust.

It falls to around the knee on most people. Slide the strap through its buckle to set the bib height, then cross the ties behind you and bow them in front. Our Size Guide has a height-by-height guide.
Care
- Machine wash cold with similar colours
- Tumble dry low or line dry
- Warm iron, on the reverse if you like
- No bleach
Wash it before the first wear if you like; the canvas grows softer with every trip through the machine.
